This month over at D-Lish Scraps they had a fabulous mood board, pictured below my interpretation of the colours and the sketch.
I decided to do an A4 size and start an album of things in the garden and around the home.
And now the Mood Board and Sketch.
I had such fun using my new gelatos, the colours are amazing. I used the background of this resist paper for the squares but they appear as diagonals here.
I've also used some of my favourite D-Lish trinkets and a stamp set that came free with a magazine some time ago.
I'm having trouble making my pages flat after using water and also some glues on the layout.
Love your background Sandra, and what a great idea for an album! Gelatos sure are fun to play with. Thanks for joining us at D'lish.
ReplyDeleteThought I spied an A4...looks great....the colours are delish & it's such a cute title...& YEP! That's the only problem with water & lotsa stuff on paper...it does warp a bit....aah well, all in the interests of creativity!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis would have to be a fave of mine, love the colours and creativity, gorgeous work. I put all my heavy punches on my layouts for awhile to try and flatten them, I find it helps
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary
DeleteThis looks lovely Sandra, your back ground is fabulous and love the idea of your book of things from around your home.. I find if i lay my layout when completely dry.. upside down overnight with something on it helps to unwarp it a bit..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hint Lizzy
Deletebeautiful :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous piece Sandra and I love your idea of a book of things around your home. What a lovely keepsake that will be to look back over time and see how things were. Loving the background and all the elements. ox
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful, a dreamy piece you have created and so lucky to have such beauty in your gardens. I use chipboard beneath my LO's (you can get it in A4 size too which I also use to make Mini's) and that way I don't get the bad warping when using mediums, paints, etc.....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Sandra. Your colours and take on the sketch look amazing. Thanks for joining in at D-Lish Scraps.
