CSI #90 (You Make Me Happy)

My entry for the challenge at CSI, I haven't entered for a while now and wanted to challenge my self to use the colours for this one.  If you want to see what the team have created or you want to join in with one of their challenges why not pop over to the above link and get inspired.

My Scheme:
I've used all colours
My Evidence:
I've used a few on the list:  the cat, a heart, polka dots, tie something and two alphas
My Testimony:
I've written a diary entry on behalf of the cat.

D-Lish Scraps (It's Home)

This month over at D-Lish Scraps they had a fabulous mood board, pictured below my interpretation of the colours and the sketch.

I decided to do an A4 size and start an album of things in the garden and around the home.
And now the Mood Board and Sketch.
I had such fun using my new gelatos, the colours are amazing.  I used the background of this resist paper for the squares but they appear as diagonals here.
I've also used some of my favourite D-Lish trinkets and a stamp set that came free with a magazine some time ago.
I'm having trouble making my pages flat after using water and also some glues on the layout.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Go Challenge (Going, going, gone)

Here's the start of my Monopoly Challenge at Scrapbooking top 50.
You are required to have 'GO' in the title.
These are some older Kaisercraft papers with bits and pieces from the kit at Scrapbooking Top 50.  The background colours were quite bright so they've had a bit of gesso treatment.

Scrap Around the World (My Brother)

The challenge for Scrap Around the World is a fabulous Mood Board pictured here.
I was inspired by the doodling and the look on the ladies face (top right), I also loved the idea of Black and White but wanted to include the predominant colours in the boys shirts.
I used:
Prima Marketing (designed by Finnabair) Template
Prima Marketing Chalk Ink
Faber Castell Gelatos
Paper Inklings Rub-ons
The Trinket Track pearl stars
Ribbons I won from a challenge
Kaisercraft Paint and Stamp
Sharpie Red and Black Pen
Twine

Scrapbooking Top 50 September Challenge

This is my very first layout for Scrapbooking Top 50, it was a fabulous sketch challenge.  Why not pop over and have a peep?
If you hadn't guessed, it's my man and me taking a selfie - that's why his face is so close-up to the camera - we haven't perfected this type of photo yet.

I've used a variety of products including Bo Bunny collectables, Basic Grey PP, Kaisercraft Stamps and Crate Paper PP, Faber Castell Gelato, Plaster Mesh Tape and also Washi Tape.

Feeling Sketchy and My New Faber Castell Gelatos

I got to play with my new gelatos and made a card for Feeling Sketchy and also a tag, just because!!!
My first card using Faber Castell gelatos and resist paper from an old range from Stampin' Up!

And a tag using the same products combined with the Tim Holtz flower die, prima birds, flourish with a bling flourish and Kaisercraft mini collectable tags.

Get Creative Tag

This month at Get Creative you can create a tag and anything goes - perfect when you want to be creative and not necessarily want to follow a sketch or colour combo.  I don't do tags very often but this one was fun.

I found some resist paper from Stampin' Up! in my stash and got out my new Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays and just started to spray and blend the colours.  I then went through my stash again to find some embellishments that would work.  I have quite a mixture:

lace from Kaisercraft,
bird from Prima,
flowers from Green Tara and Spotlight stores,
tassle from Cristine Re,
balloon from KMart,
black bling from Bella and
mini alpha from Carolee Creations.

I especially love the shimmer and sheen you get from Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays, hard to see in this photo.

Scrap the Girls (Fun in the Sun)

This is my layout for September's challenge at Scrap the Girls.  The challenge is to use Green, Orange and Pink in any shade and you can include some black or white.
Thanks Lizzy for the gorgeous bunch of daisies (my orange colour along with the washi tape and patterned paper), my green (which doesn't show up very well here) is the background paper and butterfly and leaves from d-lish scraps, washi tape and the pearl hearts are from The Trinket Track and my pink is the hearts on the washi tape and also the Tim Holtz Distress Ink on the background.
Can you guess who this is???

There's a great challenge over at A2Z Scraplets this month - take a peek
and why not have a go?
Here's my take on the challenge.

Guest Designer

I was honoured and thrilled to be asked if I would Guest Design for Orange Paperie & Co for the month of August.  Thanks Mary for asking me.
The challenge was a beautiful mood board and we'd love if you could take a peek and create a page for this challenge.
Here's what I created, its my beautiful daughter on her wedding day, you can see some close-ups on the website.
