This is my take on the sketch, I've included my journalling because it relates to the terrible weather that QLD had on the day we picked up our new caravan.
The above photo was exactly where we felt dry and were looking forward to a good sleep after a tiring day.
I love the new Zva bling I won on their blog hop, it peels off and sticks really easily.
Love this Sandra - the colours and the titling are PERFECT. Thanks for playing along with Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge ... hope to see more of your work here!!!
ReplyDeleteSandra you are certainly living the life that hubby and I hope to live one day. We backpacked around Oz 11 years ago now, just before our first child and we loooooved it and have always said we will caravan around Oz when the kids grow up.
ReplyDeleteI love your page, the fabulous journaling and the wonderful memory you have created.
Thank you for your beautiful words about being a Nanna. I know that one day it will slow down for us. Thanks again.
oh my goodness! I was sitting on the couch last night stalking about Blog Land and came upon your post. We LOVE to use our camper so it was interesting to me to see what they looked like in a different country. Then passed the Ipad to the Hubby so we could see too! Oh and then we enjoyed your page! Great take the challenge and super big thanks for sharing and playing along with AFSC. I know it's your "everyday" but oh so interesting to someone else!
ReplyDeleteoh and you'll have to explain Jasmine's Oz reference. I am sure she is not referring to the Wizard of Oz like I might think....
ReplyDeleteWonderful page. Great take on the sketch. Tks. for playing along with us at AFSC!
ReplyDeleteI really like your layout! I love how you acheived a cosy feel to this - like how you're inside on a rainy day - awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteSandra thanks for your lovely comment. Love the story in your page. Oh the Qld rain, so much of it!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in your new caravan. Great way travel Aus. Had a laugh at Mitra's confusion with Oz.
Fabulous page. Good luck in the comp.
I actually emailed Mitra to let her know what Oz meant, it was nice to receive a reply and some pics of her caravan.
DeleteI too can't wait for the day when we can go traveling, although I have pretty much traveled most of Australia and lived in a couple of different states it would be nice to do it on a more relaxed scale and really take in the view of Australia, my only problem would be is the scrapping would need my only little trailer for that...lol Lovely Page and great journaling.
