I had just taken delivery of some Simple Stories - Vintage Bliss papers and I couldn't resist using them for this challenge at CSI.  

Here's my take on the challenge.

My Evidence:

Rub-ons - these are the tiny blue flowers that are scattered around the page

Funky Scallops - on the photo mat and the backing of the title

Stripes - in the banner

masking - the background diamonds

String - around the title backing

Cursive Lettering - above the photo, it's also a rub-on and my attempt at journaling

My Testimony:

Orange Paperie & Co (Bastien)

This month  at Orange Paperie & Co the challenge was 

Stitching, Stamping, Stencilling (The SSS Challenge).

I used a piece of cardboard (collected from Aldi) for the circle stencil, I then stamped, in black ink, with the glue stick lid.  I used an arrow stencil from the Crafter's Workshop and added texture with gel medium mixed with Dylusions ink.

The patterned circles are from the Trinket Track

The star button and stick are from Eye Candy Magic

Red arrows are from Pink Paislee

Alpha is from Making Memories

Machine stitching as a border

Office date stamp

Australian Scrapbook Ideas (Teaghan & Nanna)

I was lucky enough to have a layout published in the latest Australian Scrapbook Ideas

Issue 21.  The layout is of my granddaughter and myself at around the same age and I think we have a very strong resemblance which is not so evident now but as little ones we looked alike.

Scraplift (Bruno's Garden)

I recently saw a layout a friend had done in a class and I loved it so much I had to scraplift and here it is. I've used some recent papers from Kaisercraft and also used their collectable dies cuts and some very old flowers from my stash.

The photo is another from Bruno's Garden at Marysville, Victoria, Australia and as you may remember from a previous post it was devastated by bush fires in 2009.  Bruno, family and friends worked hard to restore the garden to its former glory and enchantment as it was destroyed and some of the sculptures were damaged and burnt.  It's an amazing place to visit but if you can't get there click HERE  to find out more.

I haven't anything to post for a challenge at the moment so I've chosen a couple of layouts I did a couple of years ago.

Bloglovin

Hi everyone, can someone tell me if we can see a list of who's following us on the new Bloglovin.  With Google Reader we could see the list and faces and had the ability to block people who didn't seem quite right.  I hope to hear from someone who is more savvy than me with bloglovin.  Thanks in advance.

Live the Dream (Scrap the Boys)

I love the layouts that Rachael creates and I tried to get the same feel with this layout of my eldest grandson for the challenge at Scrap the Boys July challenge.  It was to use a B/W headshot of the boy/man in your life.
