This months challenge was something you wish or want in the future. This is my take on it and it was so hard to find a photo with me and my two children because I'm always on the other end of the camera. And now for a few close-ups.
To achieve the result on the flourish I painted it with Gesso then added ground rock salt and finally inked it with Distress Ink. I saw a fabulous tutorial by Michelle Grant over at Dusty Attic so I followed part of it, Michelle's technique is very clever and the results look amazing.
