Gotta Love Sharing
Good morning, I came across a great blog yesterday and thought I would share it with you. The page can be found at http://what-a-beautiful-mess.blogspot.com/
Lisa, at What a Beautiful Mess, is such a sharing lady and has great ideas and tutorials, especially for making flowers. I've made three flowers so far and am very excited about what I've learnt.
Karen Shady is another wonderful lady who's willing to share her ideas on handmade embellishments. http://karenshady.blogspot.com

Healesville
My husband and I have just spent six glorious days in Healesville, Victoria, Australia with four other friends. We did some sightseeing and went to Marysville one day, it's a gorgeous country town and it was so lovely to see it regenerating following the horrific bushfires in 2009. A great place to visit is Bruno's Art and Sculpture Garden where he's rebuilt his house and garden along with reconstruction of the sculptures that were damaged in the fires. http://www.brunosart.com/
Healesville is also a beautiful country town about and hour and a half from the city of Melbourne, well worth a visit even if you live in Melbourne or its suburbs.
I hope to be able to use some photos I took on our visit in future sketch challenges.

My take on a sketch
I've just submitted my very first take on a sketch at Creative Scrappers. Ironically it's of my first born grandson and the sketch was #189. Not sure if I'm allowed to add it here or if I have to wait until deadline closes for the sketch???

I recently scrapped this page of my beautiful daughter when she was about two years old. I love the Green Tara flowers and the Scrap FX Gates. The paper and chipboard birds are Kaisercraft.
New Blogger
I'm new to blogging even though I follow others, I'm hoping this works and that I can use this blog for scrapbooking.
