Hiatus...

I've had a hiatus for the last few months and can't wait to get back into scrapping - I need some inspiration and have been looking back over some of my own older layouts and also checking out the younger (than myself) scrapbookers.  I'm loving the clean and more simple look from others (I do realise even though pages look simple they have lots of thought put into the process).  I think there's a scrap crop at Paper Issues very soon so I might start there.

SBT50 'The Block' - Oh La La

SBT50 The Block Challenge - Week 5 - Room 2
This was a huge challenge today as I'm away from home this weekend and forgot my tool bag that has EVERYTHING in it. Had to make do and use a kitchen spatula for the paste and luckily I found a glue stick in the caravan. So here's my interpretation of the challenge.

 

I've used 3 Colour Blast Colour Pastes, three stencils, three washi tapes, three photos, three little word title, and three enamel dots.

Kraft + - Guest Designer for October Blast from the Past

I was thrilled to be asked to Guest Design for Kraft + this month and the name of the challenge is October Blast from the Past.  Here's my interpretation of the challenge. 

 

I used brads and vellum .

Scrapping Clearly - Cyber Crop - Monochromatic

I love the soft colours of this Bo Bunny collection and I've been hoarding it but was glad when I saw this challenge.  I also adore the heart, cloud and geo marker from Charms Creations , they're all handmade and so pretty.

This challenge was great and could have applied to many photos but I decided to do a 'me' photo this time. 

 

Scrapping Clearly - Cyber Crop - Sketch

I love this one of the little one, so glad she likes the camera.  I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio Colour Me Happy collection and the paint is 'smooched' on the background (just a really cheap kids set of shimmer paint).  I also used the same paint to colour the floral section on the left.
