Scrap the Girls March Challenge

This is of my daughter and her bridesmaid on her wedding day five years ago, it was a lovely day for a lovely girl.

I thought I would share a couple more photos created for her and also for me.
The first one is of me with my daughter while she was getting ready at my house and the second was only about an hour before she left to get married.

Get Picky Sketch #18

This is of my son when he was at kindergarten in 1979, he now has children of his own as mentioned in previous posts.  I've used 3 bugs in a rug paper, handmade rosettes, buttons, hessian and twine.

Once Upon a Sketch

This is my take on the 15 March challenge.  I haven't stuck strictly to the sketch as I've moved the photo down the page a bit because it suited what I wanted to see on the page.

 

This is the first stick pin I've made and I love them, more on the way.  I used liquid pearls and some beautiful butterflies designed by Tara Orr.

The Manor House flowers are gorgeous to use, and now for the journalling.

I miss the little boy in you and yet, inevitably I know that we as parents must give our children the knowledge and the go-ahead to enter the world and learn their own life skills.

Remembering you at three or four years old seems like eons ago now that you’re 37 years old and ‘sometimes I still see you resembling a little boy with little boy moods and attitudes’. 

I still miss my little boy even though you now have four children of your own.

My Creative Sketches and Bird is the Word

I'm using this LO for both http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com.au and for http://birdisthewordchallenge.blogspot.com.au challenges.  I love the sketch and the word discover fitted so well for the story of these photos of my grandson.

I used some lovely paper from the Bo Bunny Mamma Razi range and I'd like to thank Tara from http://eachmoment-onlyonce.blogspot.com.au for her beautiful large butterflies.

This is a page of my beautiful step-daughter and her husband.  They always look as much 'in love' as when they first started dating.

Boys Rule Scrapbook Kit Feb Challenge

I loved this sketch and I have just completed a page of my daughter when she was in brownies so I thought it was timely to use a photo of my son when he was inducted into cubs.

I loved doing this page even though I couldn't decide on a b&w photo or stay with the colour.  I woke at 3.00am this morning and went to my scrap room and replaced the b&w with the colour, I think it works but I'm posting the page before I'd finished it and it has the b&w, what do you think?  Advice would be gratefully received.
