Scrap the Boys
This month at http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/ was to scrap about your child's favourite book (grandson in my case) and this is my interpretation of the challenge. This was his 'fun' book but her also loves things like Hairy Maclary and anything with real animals, sea creatures and dinosaurs in it.
A few close-ups now:
I've used Graphic 45 and Kaisercraft papers, Tim Holtz Distress ink, Amy Tangerine and Carolee Creations Alpha, Spellbinders Cog dies, brads and metal name plate. I mounted the corrugated card cogs on cork to give a bit of dimension and I distressed nearly everything for this page.

Scrap the Girls
Thought I would let you know these two are in their 20's now, have tertiary/college qualifications and did get over their accidents and become less clumsy as they got older but it was awful at the time.
This months challenge at http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com.au/ is too use:
FLOWERS
TWO DIFFERENT ALPHAS
MORE THAN ONE PHOTO
STAPLES
I've used patterned paper, cardstock, Kaisercraft Bird Cage and tiny alpha, Prima stitched flower, flowers from my stash (I've had them for a long time), Ranger Liquid Pearls, beautiful wooden buttons to match the centres of the patterned paper flowers, staples on the pale pink ribbon to attach the sheer bow, mother of pearl beads from a special friend, heart stickpins and tiny birds that I painted with Gesso before adding liquid pearls, paper doily, wooden fence and American Craft Alpha and Cre8tiv Alpha.

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge
I haven't done a lot on this layout because I spent my time on the important journaling about this very special lady in my life - I love her to pieces because she always took the time to spend teaching me things and she had so much trust in me as a nine year old. I think she was the inspiration for all of my crafting and also for me wanting to become a mum.

A bit of bragging
Firstly I'd like to say I won a prize over at http://redearthscrapping.blogspot.com.au/ I won with my Jetty layout, it was an exciting way to scrap and I'd like to thank Helen for her creative challenges.
Secondly, I 'd like to share a treasure I found today in a little country 'op shop', it cost me $1.00. It's self explanatory when you see it!!! I purchased it to cut up and use in scrapping but I just love flicking through the pages and reading the words of wisdom. On reflection, it's no use buying something and if it doesn't get used and gets left on the shelf the purchase was in vain so I've decided to use it soon......... It dates back to 1963.
